Rose (Tridenti) Golato

93, of Smithfield, died peacefully on May 4, 2015 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Golato. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Donnatina (DeRobbio) Tridenti.
Rose was an optical inspector for many years before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Michael Church in Smithfield. She enjoyed gardening, walking, dancing and cooking for her family. She is survived by her daughter Janice (Golato) Gentile and her husband Albert. She was adored by her granddaughter Kristen Boie and fiancAC. Alan Comello, and her grandson Christopher Gentile and his wife Jeannine. Her greatest joy were her great grandchildren Alex, Austin, Ethan, Luke and Brooke. She was the sister of the late Mary Scarduzio, Antonetta D'Ambra, Ida Santilli, and Yolanda Tridenti. Also her late brothers, Anthony, Angelo, Andrew, Ernest and Albert Tridenti.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 9:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Michael's Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917. Entombment will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Friday morning from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 - Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
