Rose Mastrati

100, of Hope, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Kent Hospital, Warwick. She was the lifelong partner of Vincent Capuano for 58 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (DiLisi) Mastrati. Rose was a trailblazer, business executive, entrepreneur, and former owner of the Beauty Nest Salon’s, and the RI Academy of Beauty Culture.

Rose was the sister of Rachel Montecalvo of Fl, the late Frank, John, Joseph, Michael Mastrati, Margaret Bafoni, Theresa DeMello and Henrietta Horowitz.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, Cranston. Burial and visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Her mass will be livestreamed through Facebook page Holy Apostles, Western Cranston at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Apostles Church Memorial Society, 800 Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston, RI 02921.
