Rose E. (Keough) Schlink

92, of Cranston, passed away on Friday February 19, 2016 at RI Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert D. Schlink. Born in Taunton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Helena (Smith) Keough. Rose worked for National Chain Company.
She was the devoted mother of Robert E. Schlink and his wife Carol of Providence, David A. Schlink of Cranston and the late Eileen M. Daly; loving grandmother of six and loving great-grandmother of two. She was the mother-in-law of Robert W. Daly of North Kingstown; and dear sister of James Keough of Taunton, MA, and the late Eileen Sarkissian and Edward and Thomas Keough.
Nothing made Rose happier than the smiles of those she loved. She was a kind and gentle soul whose love, compassion and acceptance of others was contagious and will live on in all who knew and loved her. We know she will always be watching over her family, especially the babies-her "littles".
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Thursday at 9:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Matthews Church, 1291 Elmwood Ave. Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
