Rose M. (Coppa) Susi

age 92 of Johnston, RI died peacefully surrounded by her loving family before entering into the presence of Jesus. She was born on Ridge Street Federal Hill, Providence, RI in 1933. One of 11 children, Rose was the daughter of the late John and Rosa (Iacono) Coppa, a loving sister to Mary Coletta of Johnston and late brothers Vito, Vincenzo, Salvatore, Frank, John, William Coppa, and late sisters Anna Coppa, Regina Petrangelo and Laura Carnevale. She was the beloved wife of the late Pasqualino Susi for 64 years.

Rose was vibrant and full of life. Described as a true Lady, she loved God and her family, to laugh, to love, and to cook. Famous for her cooking show on WARV, two cookbooks, and YouTube channel, “Sunday At Nana’s”, Rose (Nana) was passionate about showing her love through her food and always gave a Nana-sized portion of it. She was a long-time member of the Trinity Assembly of God Church.

Rose was the mother of Michael (Gail) of Johnston and the late Anthony Susi (Margaret). Besides her son, Rose leaves behind her grandchildren Anthony (Jennifer), Lorna, Michael (Keren), Leah (Matthew), David and great-grandchildren Trenton, Kindal, Michael, Anthony, Isabella, Joseph and Gina and her soon arriving great-great-grandchild and her many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Trinity Assembly of God Church, 2119 Hartford Ave., Johnston, RI on Wednesday, June 25th, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with her Celebration of Life Service immediately following. This service will be streamed online at trinityri.org. Burial will be held at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Cranston, RI. Arrangements are with the Nardolillo Funeral Home, Cranston, RI.
