Rosemary Bishop

beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully at her home on August 22, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on June 11, 1949, in Providence, RI, Rosemary grew up in Pawtucket before establishing her home in Merrimack, NH, where she lived for 30 years prior to relocating to Cranston in 2012.

Throughout her career, Rosemary dedicated herself to the field of healthcare as an x-ray technician, working for various private practices across New Hampshire until her retirement. Her unwavering commitment to her work reflected her caring nature and desire to support others, a trait that carried into every aspect of her life.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Rosemary was a woman of many interests and talents. She found joy in crafting, writing, and reading, often seeking solace and inspiration in these pursuits. Yet, her proudest accomplishment remained her family, whom she adored and cherished deeply. The time spent with her loved ones was her greatest treasure, and she took immense pride in being a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Rosemary is survived by her loving children, Barbara Murdock and her husband Alan of Cranston, Brian Bishop of Pierce, CO and Sharon Lamoureux and her husband Michael of Willis, TX. She was the proud grandmother of Michael, Holly, Piper, Amber, Alexandria, and Samantha, and a joyful great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George A. Bishop, Jr., and her parents, Joseph and Nancy (Pezza) Antico. Rosemary was also preceded by her brothers Domenic, Joseph, and John Antico, and her sister Geraldine Holzberger.

Rosemary’s absence will be felt dearly by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, compassion, and dedication to family will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
