Rosemary F. (Butti) Ellinwood

84, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Cedar Crest Nursing Center in Cranston. She was the beloved wife for 63 years of Robert F. Ellinwood. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Paliotta) Butti.

Rosemary was Principal Clerk for the City of Cranston Clerk’s Office where she worked for 32 years before retiring.

Besides her husband Robert, she was the devoted mother Dawn M. Ellinwood and her husband Peter C. Ferguson of Williston, VT and Robert F. Ellinwood, Jr. and his wife Laurie of Johnston; cherished Nana of Grace R. Ferguson of Williston, VT; and dear sister of Robert Buttie and his wife Janet of Cranston and the late Raymond Butti and his late wife Ellen, both formerly of Cranston.

Rosemary will be missed by her extended family, many friends, and her beloved nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, September 27th at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery Cranston. Visiting hours are Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
