Rosemary A. (Dolan) Flaherty
88, of Wakefield, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the Apple Rehab Clipper in Westerly. She was the beloved wife of the late John P. Flaherty, Jr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Simon and Mary (Dempsey) Dolan.
She is survived by her loving children, Jana (Janet) K. Flaherty of New London, CT, and John P. Flaherty III and his wife Lisa of Cranston; cherished grandchildren Jillian and Andrew Flaherty; dear brother Paul Dolan of Pawtucket. She was also the sister of the late Genevieve Corcoran, Bernard Dolan, Philip Dolan, and Grace Forbes.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St., Wakefield. Burial will take place in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Rhode Island Chapter, 1210 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, R.I. 02920.
