Russell E. Palombo

78, of Cranston, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Friday, December 16, 2016, at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence.  He was the beloved husband of fifty-four years to Barbara N. (Ursini) Palombo. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Michael and Eva (Gregelevich) Palombo. He was a US Air Force veteran. Russell was a supervisor for the US Postal Service before his retirement.

Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Barbara N. Cilli of Cumberland, Gina M. Saccoccio of Coventry, and Russell M. Palombo. He was the cherished grandfather of five granddaughters. Russell was the brother of Mary Cicerelli of West Greenwich and Sandra Jennings of Florida.

His funeral service and burial will be private.
