Ruth E. (Deware) Walton
83, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday March 31, 2016 at Briarcliffe Manor in Johnston surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Richard Walton. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Russell Roy and Ruth (Smith) Roy. She was also the daughter of the late Clarence Deware. Ruth was employed as a waitress and short order cook for various restaurants in Providence for many years before retiring.
Ruth is survived by her loving children, Gail Deware and Gary Deware, both of Cranston; cherished grandchildren, Stephen Wallace, Brian Deware and Kayla Deware; dear siblings Russel Roy of East Greenwich, Gloria Deware of Warwick, Evelyn Minear of Warwick, Adeline Prudhomme of Warwick and the late John and Clarence Deware.
A service will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 10 am. Burial will take place in North Burial Ground, Providence. VISITING HOURS will be held on Monday from 4 - 8 pm.
