88, of Cranston, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at home. He was the beloved husband of the late Anna M. (Rossi) Capotosto. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Paul and Mary (Maggiacomo) Capotosto. Sandino was a line worker for thirty years at the former American Standard Company in Danielson, CT before his retirement. He was a former Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leader with Troop 11, Cranston. He was a manager of the former Golden Arrows of Cranston and the RI Picadores of Bristol Drum and Bugle Corps. He was a US Army veteran serving during WWII. He is survived by his loving children, Paul M. Capotosto and his wife Donna of Oakdale, CT, Michael J. Capotosto, and Joan M. DelBonis, both of Cranston. Sandino was the cherished grandfather of five and the great-grandfather of four. He was the brother of Etta Terenzi and John Capotosto, both of Cranston. His funeral will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be private.
