Sandra A. Marchetti

89, of Wakefield, formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at home. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Giovanna "Jennie" (Fantini) Marchetti. Sandra was a secretary for the former Budlong Manufacturing Company for over forty years before her retirement. She loved living by the ocean and enjoyed clamming, lobstering, and Italian cooking. Animals had a special place in her life. Sandra dedicated her life to caring for her parents. She is survived by her brothers, Frank Marchetti of FL, Andrew Marchetti of VA and Joseph Marchetti of FL. Sandra was the sister of the late Constance Tyas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
