Sandra M. (Tartaglia) Rocchio
70, of Johnston, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2014 at Roger Williams Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife of Frank Rocchio. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Odelia (Morris) Tartaglia. Sandra worked in jewelry for over forty years, before retiring.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her son Anthony Rocchio and his wife Elizabeth of Johnston. Sandra was the cherished grandmother of Francesco, Antonio, Jr. and Stephen N., and great grandmother of Lorenzo. She was the sister of Carmine, Elizabeth, Irene, Carolyn, Marie, Joanne, Della, Margie, Frances, Louise, and the late Salvatore, Elenor and Dolores.
Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are on Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
