Sandra J. (Gray) Silva

72, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.  Sandra was the beloved wife of Edwin J. Silva.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Raymond L. and Phyllis (Luongo) Gray.

Sandra was the most selfless, gentle person. She had an infinite love for her family and the ultimate kindness for everyone she met; so therefore, Sandra spent her days creating a loving home, a providing caregiver and volunteering her time teaching about her faith. She lived so simply but did extraordinary things. In everything she did she did it with all of her heart and simple grace. Her soul and heart were pure and full of love. Her life was dedicated to her faith and her family. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and travelling to visit her children and grandchildren. Although she never was an athlete, Sandra considered herself a sports enthusiast – her favorite teams are the ones in which her grandchildren participated and her children coached.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children Lisa Autiello and her husband Dan of Orlando, FL, Donna Narduzzi and her husband Pat of Pittsburgh, PA, Jeffrey Silva and his wife Kim of Chicago, IL, Michael Silva and his wife Rhonda of Cumberland, and Deanna Marinucci of Cranston.  Sandra was the cherished nana of Cassandra, Daniel, Zachary and Gabriella Autiello, Arianna, Christina, Patrick and Isabella Narduzzi, Christopher, Alexa, Michaela and Ryan Silva, Michael, Jenna, and Benjamin Silva and Luca Marinucci.

Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS: Thursday 4:00-8:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Immaculate Conception Church.
