SANDRA M. (NIMBLETT) WINN

68, of Cranston, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. Sandra was the wife of John W. Winn, Jr. They were married for 50 years. Born in Beverly, MA, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Dorothy (Bodley) Nimblett. Mrs. Winn was employed as a claims representative for Amica Insurance, for 15 years, before her retirement. She loved gardening, traveling and, mostly, spending time with her family at get-togethers.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her 4 children; Dana M. McCormick and her fiancAC. Anthony Parascandolo, John W. Winn, III and his wife Michele, Timothy P. Winn and his fiancAC. Kerrie Barnes and William J. Winn and his wife Jennifer, all of Cranston. Sandra was the cherished grandmother of 7; Jessica, Justin, Timothy, Jr., John IV, Nicole, Ryan and Matthew, and great grandmother of 2. She was the sister of John Nimblett, Linda Slade, Debra McCreery and the late Diane Vittorioso.

Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Paul's Church, Cranston at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS are Thursday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospitals for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
