Santina (Molinaro) Letteri

88, of North Providence, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late Giovanni B. Letteri. Born in Sulmona, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Carlo and Angela (Scudieri) Molinaro. Santina was a sample maker for Monet Jewelry for over 30 years before her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and entertaining family and friends. Santina was an avid storyteller and gardener. She enjoyed crocheting and making homemade pasta.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Franca Ricci and her husband Aldo of Providence. Santina was the cherished grandmother of Giovanni Ricci and his wife Lisa of Johnston, Cristina Milano and her husband Eugenio of North Providence, and the great-grandmother of Liliana Santina Ricci and Giuliana Francesca Ricci, and the late Lorenzo and Lucio Milano. She was the sister of Assunta Caponetti of Sulmona, Italy, Maria Taglieri, of Queabeyan, NSW, Australia, Cosmo Molinaro of Ancona, Italy, Damiano Molinaro of Rome, Italy, and the late AmeliaTresca, and Armando Molinaro. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank, Dr. Vincent Vacca, the nurses and staff  at Cherry Hill Manor for their care and kindness extended to Santina and her family.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial  at 12:00 noon in Holy Ghost Church, 1 Knight Street, Providence. Entombment will be in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Thursday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Ghost Church, 472 Atwells Avenue, Providence, RI 02909-1047 or Cherry Hill Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Activities Fund, 2 Cherry Hill Road, Johnston, RI 02919.
