85, passed away on November 20, 2015 at RI Hospital. He was the husband of the late Joan (Baggesen ) Laprocina. He was born in Cranston a son of the late Nicola and Angelina ( Corso ) Laprocina. Mr. Laprocina was a foreman employed at the former MW Dunton Company of West Warwick for 43 years until his retirement. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Board of Directors of the Washington Park Citizens Association, the PAC and a Cub Scout Leader. He is survived by his children; Joan Rossi of Goldsboro, NC, Jean Laprocina of Providence, William Laprocina and his wife Laura, of Warwick and George Laprocina of Providence. He was the grandfather of Ebony Laprocina, Nicole Laprocina, Kristina Rossi, Giorgio Rossi, Antonella Marshall, Adam Brice, Curtis J. Spikes and Curtis Spikes, Jr.; great grandfather of Thomas Teixiera, Samuel Rossi, Benjamin Marshall and Ezra Marshall. He was the brother of Paul Laprocina and Virginia Frazier both of Warwick and the late Antonetta Paglia, Mary Josephine Saccoccia, Philomena DeSimone, Rose Manera, Joseph, Carlo, Frank, Pasquale and Julio Laprocina. His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME and Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Paul's Church, 1 St. Paul's Place, Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial, with military honors, will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
