Sarah (Aznavoorian) Cafaro

of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, April, 1, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Elio “Tiny” Cafaro and Ralph DeSimone. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late George and Surpoohi (Kazarian) Aznavoorian.

Sarah is survived by her loving children, Rita Wright and her husband Thomas of East Greenwich, Valerie Celani and her husband David of Chepatchet and Ralph DeSimone and his wife Denise of Cranston. She was also the cherished grandmother of Alexandria & Erica Wright, Giovanna, Davina & Angela Celani, David Cook and great grandmother of Alana Cook. Sarah was the dear sister of Anne Kalashian and Vartan Aznavoorian both of Florida and the sister of the late Altoon Coughlin and Violet Cabral.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 4-7 pm.
