88, of Florida previously of Providence, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at her home in Coconut Creek, Florida where she resided with her daughter Joann. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond P. Silvestri, Sr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Filomena (Piccirelli) Pellegrino. Sarah enjoyed going to the casino, bowling, bingo, Red Sox and was a choir member at St. Augustine's Church for 20 years.
Besides her husband she is survived by her loving children, Joann Hayes of Coconut Creek, FL, Theresa Crugnale of Cranston, Raymond P. Silvestri, Jr. of Warwick, Susan DiFolco of North Providence and Domenic Silvestri of Providence. She was the also the cherished grandmother of 11, great grandmother of 19, great-great grandmother of 4 and was the sister of the late Viola Billion, Evelyn Tirocchi, Etta Proccaccini, Conchetta Caito, Thelma Rossi and Albert Pellegrino and great grandmother of the late Anthony O'Brien.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday morning from 8-10 am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 11 am in St. Augustine's Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave, Providence. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
