SAVERIO A. MONTECALVO
75, of North Carolina formerly of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday October 1, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Concettina (Miozzi) Montecalvo. Saverio was a machine operator for EGG Sealol for 25 years before retirement. He was a US Army veteran.
He was the beloved father of Ronald Montecalvo and his wife Therese of Waxhaw, N. Carolina and Rhonda Boehm and her husband Richard of Cranston; loving grandfather of Saverio, Ronald Jr., Alex, Samantha and Reis; and dear brother of Anna Bertelli of North Providence and Antonio Montecalvo and his wife Carol of West Warwick.
His funeral will be held on Monday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brigids Church 1231 Plainfield St. Johnston at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
