Sharon J. (Aitchison) Benoit

63, of West Greenwich passed away peacefully on September 17, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  She was the beloved wife of Norman E. Benoit, Jr. and incredible mother to Nicole J. Benoit of West Greenwich.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of William “Bill” Aitchison of Coventry and the late Joyce A. (Kafka) Aitchison.

Mrs. Benoit worked for the State of RI in the Workers’ Compensation Unit of the Department of Labor and Training before retiring. She was a former CCD teacher and was an avid photographer.

Besides her husband, daughter, and father she leaves her brother, William Aitchison, Jr. of Woonsocket; and a sister, Kim Jutras of Coventry.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Friday, September 22, 2023 at 6pm in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston.  Her burial will be private.  VISITING HOURS Friday 4-6pm.
