Sharon Lee Downes

71, of Pawtucket, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 21, 2018, at Miriam Hospital, Providence. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Verdecchia) Downes. Sharon worked as a housekeeper for Merry Maids of East Providence for five years before her retirement. She was an avid sports fan especially the Red Sox and Patriot’s. She enjoyed watching Western Movies and shows.

Sharon is survived by her partner of nineteen years Nancy E. Ellis of Pawtucket, and her children David Ellis, Jr. and Christopher Ellis, both of Providence. She was the sister of Carlotta Downes of FL, her twin Georgia Saunders of Providence, George Downes Jr. and Sandra Downes, both of Warwick, Dennis Downes and Paul Downes, both of Smithfield.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday evening, October 1, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS Monday 5-7 p.m.
