Silvio 'Chief' Generali
88, of Johnston, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Vilma (Colella) Generali. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Adolfo and Fenizia (Baldini) Generali.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Joyce Generali of Kansas City, Missouri, and the late Joseph Generali; cherished grandchildren Jessica and Jonathan Whitfield; dear siblings, Adolph "Chick", William "Billy", Alexander "Sonny" Generali, Yolanda Smalley of Cumberland, and the late Mary Generali, Dora Dennett, Domenic Generali, Peter "The Dude" Generali, and Anna Corse. He is also survived by his loving nieces, nephews and his beloved cat Mia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, Providence. Entombment with Military Honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery Mausoleum, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be Saturday from 2 - 5 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
