Sonja (Petrovich) Rotondo

80, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025. A beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt, passed away early Sunday morning with devoted daughter Gina Funaro and son-in-law Jef Funaro by her side at home.

Her battle was fought with unwavering strength as her granddaughter Giavanna Funaro and grandson Santino Funaro were a constant support in driving her fight. Her sister Marie Pezzullo was a loving, caring light throughout her journey

She is the daughter of the late Jennie (Martone) Bonner and Charles Petrovich.

VISITING HOURS will be Friday, May 30th from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
