Stephen A. DeSantis

Stephen Angelo DeSantis, 65, of Garrettsville Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 29, 2025. Originally from Cranston, RI, he was the son of the late Stephen S. DeSantis and Joan A. (Fattore) DeSantis. 

Stephen received his Bachelor's degree from Parsons School of Design (NY) and continued with his Master's degree from Columbia College (IL). In Kent, Ohio, Stephen was a Portage County Master Gardener who volunteered at Holden Elementary School. Stephen was an avid traveler and had a passion for gardening. 

Stephen is survived by his stepfather, Matthew Weber; loving siblings Dennis DeSantis and his wife Patricia, Susan DeSantis and her husband John Farmwald, Patricia Lovett and her husband Robert, Maria Coley and her husband William; cherished nieces and nephews, David Sage, Crystal Lovett, Presley Coley, and Autumn DeSantis. 

Stephen's burial was held privately, at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston, RI. Visiting hours and services were respectfully omitted. Donations in his memory can be made to Seidman Cancer Center, University Hospital, PO Box 94544, Cleveland OH 44101-4554.
