83, of Greenville, RI passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. The son of the late Michael Fallon and Winifred (Shields) Fallon, he was born and spent his childhood in Providence, graduating Mt Pleasant High School in 1960. After high school he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp in 1961 and served his country in Vietnam. Upon returning home he met and married the love of his life, Carole, in 1969. They settled in Greenville, RI, a community he proudly called home, where they raised three boys.
Stephen dedicated 31 years to his career as an electrician for Amtrak until 2003. After retirement, Stephen and Carole enjoyed winters in Myrtle Beach, SC creating cherished memories under warmer skies.
Outside of work, he found joy in life's simple pleasures; he was an avid golfer throughout his life and dedicated his free time to coaching youth soccer, basketball and baseball. He was also tremendously handy incorporating skills from the Corp and his father to build and enhance his family's home throughout their years there.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Joe Fallon, Winifred Johnson and Kathleen Richards, all from RI. He is survived by his loving wife, Carole, his brother John Fallon and sister-in-law Caroline of Wilmington, NC. He is the cherished father to Stephen A. Fallon and his wife Heather, of Milford, CT; Brian P. Fallon and his wife Clarissa, of Burke, VA; Anthony T. Fallon and his wife Dawn, of Greenville, RI. He was also a devoted grandfather to seven granddaughters; Zoe, Isabella, Dakota, Autumn, Aubree, Cordelia and Quinn.
