Stephen A. Nardella

Stephen A. Nardella, 75, of Cranston passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Sunday August 18, 2024. Born in Providence he was the son of the late August and Elizabeth (Querin) Nardella. He was the devoted husband of Brenda (Richardson) Nardella for 42 years.

Stephen was a proud veteran serving his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a quiet gentleman that was completely content sitting in his favorite recliner, working on his latest craft project while Law and Order was playing in the background. There were few crafts that he did not enjoy, most recently popsicle sticks and crocheting. His family was of utmost importance helping to raise his oldest granddaughter, who gave him the title of “Pop pop”. In his younger years he and Brenda enjoyed going dancing, always donning his long tan jacket.

He was the beloved father of Darlene Clarke, and Michelle Vento and Father in-law to Joseph Vento. He was the devoted grandfather of Joey, Kaelyn, Ashlee and Juliana. He was the brother of Paul Nardella, and Christopher Nardella, and an uncle to many nieces and a nephew.

His Funeral service will be held on Monday August 26, 2024, at 12:00 pm at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Burial with full military honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery. VISITING HOURS will be held Sunday from 3:00-6:00 pm.
