Steven R. Salvatore

66, of Warwick, passed away on Saturday November 29, 2014 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine M. Harrop. Born in Providence, he was the son of Bellardina (DiCiccio) Ruggieri of Cranston and the late Vincent Salvatore, and step-son of Ed Ruggieri of Cranston. Steven was a mortgage banker for many years before retiring and was a 23 year veteran of the Air National Guard retiring as a 1st Sergeant.
Besides his wife, mother and step-father he was the devoted father of Melanie Larangeira of Johnston and Jessica Salvatore of Indianapolis, IN, loving grandfather of Logan, Brady and Reed. He was the dear brother of Joan Fargnoli of Johnston, Karen Salvatore of Saunderstown, Janice Foster of Reno, Nevada, Caroline Petrucci of Smithfield and the late Donald Salvatore.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave. Johnston, followed by Military Honors immediately after mass. Burial will be private.
Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
