Susan M. Mangiarelli
61, of Johnston, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 surrounded by her family after a long, tough battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Ralph Mangiarelli Sr. and Marie (Testa) Mangiarelli. Susan worked in the Pathology Department at Roger Williams Hospital and Women & Infants Hospital for many years.
She is survived by her loving children, Matthew, Maria and John Valletta all of Johnston; her dear siblings Ralph Mangiarelli, Jr. of Smithfield, Donald Mangiarelli of Cranston, Lucille Peterman of Colorado Springs., Michael Mangiarelli of No. Providence, David Mangiarelli, Steven Mangiarelli and Carol Sullivan all of Johnston.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8 pm in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 10 am, at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at www.pancan.org.
