Teresa M. Lowe, 98, of Greenville passed away on Monday June 29, 2026. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Josphine (Cipriano) Comella. She was wife of the late Joseph V. Lowe.
She was a key punch operator and worked for printing companies. Alongside her late husband Joe, they traveled to most of the continental United States, via car their as preferred mode of travel. Her love for card games with the skill set she developed earned her the High Roller status at Foxwoods and was known to drive there by herself into 80s. She always looked forward to family parties, and holiday events alongside her stepson, many nieces, nephews, and friends. Her recipe for chicken escarole soups was a treasured family favorite.
She is survived by her stepson Joseph R. Lowe and Lynn of Narragansett, a niece Debra Brodeur and her companion Michael. She also leaves many other nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was predeceased by her siblings Anthony “Tony” Comella, Leonard “Lenny” Comella, Frederick “Fred” Comella, Concetta “Tina” Simone, and Dorothy Brodeur.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday July 3, 2026, at 10:00 am at St. Robert Bellarine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Followed by a burial at Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS will be held on Friday from 8:00 – 9:00am.
