Teresa (DiOrio) Pizzi
80, of Cranston, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015 at RI Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Pizzi, Jr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Aquilino "Willie" and Mary (DiNardi) DiOrio.
Teresa worked for the City of Cranston School Department for 25 years where she was manager of the cafeteria at Cranston High School West before retiring; and was a member of the Cranston Democratic City Committee.
Teresa was the devoted mother of William T. Pizzi of Cranston, Thomas Pizzi, III his wife Barbara of Johnston and Phyllis Pizzi of Cranston; cherished grandmother of Jason, Christina, Amanda, Donald and Thomas IV; and loving great-grandmother of six.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew's Church, 305 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
VISITING HOURS are Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
