THOMAS E. COLE

72, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, October 04, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice In-Patient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Christine (Andrews) Cole. They were married for the past 31 years. Thomas was born in Providence, a son of the late Alfred Cole, Sr. and Virginia (Bradley) Cole. Mr. Cole was a manager at the New England Telephone Company for many years until his retirement. A direct descendent of Roger Williams, Tom enjoyed many years as a Doorkeeper in the House Chamber of the RI General Assembly; and was also a US Army veteran.
Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by his loving children, Debra and Michael Cole of FL, Elizabeth Tuttle of Cranston, his cherished grandchildren, Harrison, William and James Tuttle and his siblings, Patricia Montgomery of Warwick, Alfred Cole, Jr. of Cranston, Robert Cole of Warwick, Judith Tito of Providence and James Cole of Johnston.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Tuesday morning at 11 am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by military honors.
