88, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday April 30, 2015 surrounded by his loving children. He was the beloved husband of the late Virginia (Balasco) DiMuccio. Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Gaetano and Armelinda (Marcaccio) DiMuccio.
Thomas was an owner of Grove Oil Service as well as DiMuccio Realty for many years before his retirement. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during WWII. He served on the USS Randolph as a Gunnery 4th Division. He was a member of the John E. Cooney Post 84 in Cranston and was on the Board of the Ward 3 Democratic Committee. He was also a communicant of St. Mary's Church.
He is survived by his loving children, Thomas DiMuccio, Jr. of Cranston, Robert DiMuccio of Cranston, David DiMuccio and his wife Donna of Cranston, JoAnn DiMuccio of Cranston, and Cheryl Polce and her husband Michael of Greenville; 5 cherished grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; brother Edward DiMuccio of Cranston. He was the brother of the late Anthony, Edith, Ethel, Lena DiMuccio, and Flora DeNardo.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be Tuesday 5 - 8 p.m.
