Thomas "Tommy" Pesaturo, 75, of Lincoln, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.
He was the beloved husband of the late Annette Celani Pesaturo and the son of the late Carl and Frances Pesaturo.
Tommy leaves behind his daughter, Blair-Victoria; granddaughter, Carolina; sister and brother-in-law, Lynda and Steven Williams; brother, Russell Pesaturo; nephew, Jake ; cousins, and many friends
A graduate of Rhode Island College with a master's degree in Special Education, Tommy began his career in education before serving with the Providence Fire Department. Following his retirement from the fire service, he returned to the classroom .In 2005, Tommy received the Rhode Island Big Brothers Community Service Award in recognition of his support for fatherless boys.
Tommy enjoyed music, especially The Rolling Stones and Maroon 5, riding his Harley-Davidson, martial arts, weightlifting, and spending time with family and friends. A dedicated sports fan, Tommy was a loyal New York Yankees supporter and enjoyed following his favorite teams throughout the years. He loved a good laugh and was never shy about telling a story, often loudly, with animated gestures and plenty of enthusiasm.
An avid reader and lifelong learner, Tommy enjoyed conversing about a wide range of subjects. He was a talented handyman who could tackle nearly any project. A devoted friend, Tommy enjoyed being around people and rarely left a room unnoticed. With a strong personality, sense of humor, and unmistakable presence, he was often the life of the party.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday June 24, 2026 from 5:00- 7:00 pm at the Nardolillo Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rhode Island 188 Valley St, Suite 125, Providence, RI 02909 in support of youth mentoring programs.
