Timothy A. Smith, 57, of Clifton, Texas, formerly of Johnston, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Dennis C. Smith and Vincenza (Trombetti) Smith.
Tim was a kind and generous soul who was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, he would truly give the shirt off his back without hesitation. He had a deep love for fishing and cherished the thrill of the catch. Tim was also a devoted and lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox and a proud, die-hard supporter of the New England Patriots. He especially looked forward to Saturdays, which he lovingly spent with his “Saturday Love,” his cherished great-niece, Bella. Their time together brought him tremendous joy and was something he treasured deeply. His warmth, loyalty, and loving spirit will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Tim is survived by his two loving children, Devin Smith and Megan Smith, and their mother and his former wife, Tammy Iannuccilli. He was the brother of Tammy Miccoli and brother-in-law of Franco Miccoli. He was predeceased by his brothers, Todd A. Smith and Dennis J. Smith. He was a proud uncle to Briana Miccoli, Jiana Smith, Franco Miccoli, and Nicholas Miccoli, and a loving great-uncle to Isabella (“Bella”) Miccoli, Olivia Miccoli, Aaliyah Amodie, Armani Miccoli, and Franco Miccoli.
Tim will be remembered for his loyal friendships, generous heart, and the kindness and laughter he shared so freely with everyone, fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of compassion and loyalty will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were proud to call him a friend.
