Tina M. Tomaselli

It is with deep sadness, and with so much love, that we share the passing of Tina Tomaselli of Warwick, Rhode Island. A beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, friend and mentor, Tina was an amazing woman who touched the lives of so many.

An incredibly bright light, Tina had a rare ability to make people feel truly seen, heard, and cared for. She was deeply understanding and accepting, always taking the time to listen and to meet people with kindness. She gave so much of herself to others—with a generous heart, a comforting presence, and a genuine belief that every person mattered.

A natural caregiver who began her career as a nurse, Tina carried that compassion with her throughout her entire life. Caring for people was not something she simply did; it was who she was.

Tina believed in celebrating life’s moments, in bringing people together, and in the power of connection. She found happiness in laughter, in shared stories, and in the simple beauty of people gathering to share in life.

Alongside her husband, Anthony, Tina was the co-owner and co-founder of T’s Restaurant, a place that has become a true reflection of who she was. T’s has never just been a business—it is a place where people celebrate their happiest moments, share their hard times, and gather to feel a sense of community and belonging. It carries Tina’s heart, her values, and her belief that people need one another.

Tian proudly sat on the Rhode Island Hospitality Board, she was a mentor and leader to so many. She carried a wisdom that came from a lifetime of experiences, and generously shared that wisdom with others. With over 45 years in the hospitality business, she encouraged people and believed in their potential.

Tina leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, kindness, connection, and countless lives made better simply because she was part of them. She was truly one of a kind, and we will miss her more than words can express.

Her legacy of love will live on through her family. She was the loving daughter of Marilyn (Nichols) Blanchard and the late Wesley “Doc” Blanchard. Tina was also the cherished wife of Anthony Tomaselli. The devoted mother of Tara Tomaselli McCarthy (Michael), and Anthony Tomaselli (Sarah). She was the best Mema/Ma to Mia, Thea, Luca, Matteo and Madelyn. She was the beloved sister of Craig Blanchard (Patti), Stacey Dorney (Jim), Kurt Blanchard (Lori), and Mark Blanchard (Maggie), she also leaves a legacy with several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Tina’s Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Norwood Baptist Church, 48 Budlong Road, Warwick. In lieu of visiting hours, family and friends are invited to gather directly at the church.

Following the service, all are welcome to join us for a Celebration of Life from 12:00–3:00 p.m. at Harbor Lights, 150 Gray Street, Warwick, RI 02889.

In keeping with Tina’s wishes, guests are encouraged to wear color as we come together to celebrate her life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rhode Island Hospitality Association, in recognition of Tina’s dedicated service on its Board, or to the cancer care program at Kent Hospital, honoring her memory and supporting others affected by cancer.
