Ugo Martino, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at the age of 100, leaving behind a legacy of love, family, and quiet strength.
Born a century ago, Ugo lived a full and meaningful life, shaped by dedication to his family and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of each day. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Rosa Martino, with whom he shared over 70 years of marriage—a partnership built on enduring love, respect, and unwavering support.
Ugo was a proud and caring father to his two children, Karen Martino-David and Ronald Martino. He found immense joy in watching his family grow, and his role as a grandfather brought him particular happiness. He is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Alexander David, Christopher David, Cassandra Boyajian, Ariana Martino, and Nicholas Martino. His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren, Ashton David and Leila Boyajian, who brought light and pride to his later years.
Ugo will be remembered for his warmth, resilience, and the steady presence he provided to those around him. His life was a testament to the importance of family, commitment, and kindness.
He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved him.
VISITING HOURS will be Tuesday, April 21st from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
