Valerie L. Martino, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, peacefully departed this world on September 6, 2025, in Cranston, RI. Born on February 24, 1956, in, RI, Valerie was a shining light in the lives of those who knew her, embodying grace, kindness, and an unwavering spirit.
Valerie dedicated numerous years as an Administrative Assistant for the Providence School Systems, showcasing her commitment not only to her work but also to the community she cherished. Known for her personality and positive outlook on life, she had an uncanny ability to motivate and inspire others around her. Family came first in her heart; her grandsons, Zachary and Joshua Mallozzi, were the center of her universe, and her pride in them was evident to everyone who encountered her.
An incredibly meticulous individual, Valerie took great pride in her appearance and was always well put together. She had a flair for hosting family gatherings and holidays, ensuring that every detail was perfect to create cherished memories. Her love for shopping sprees for the next perfect outfit was matched only by her adventurous spirit as she traveled with family and friends, always seeking new experiences and treasured moments.
Valerie had an extensive and loving family who will forever hold her memory close. She is survived by her daughter, Dannah Mallozzi; her son-in-law, Edward Mallozzi; her grandsons, Zachary and Joshua Mallozzi; and her brother, Salvatore Martino. In addition, she leaves behind her loving nieces, Kristen Mooney (Michael), Miranda Martino, Nicola Manfredo (Nick), Ashley Rotolo (Luca), as well as her great nephews and nieces, Mason, Arabella, Delanna, Isabella, and Luca.
Valerie’s warmth and selflessness brightened the lives of many, fostering deep connections and creating a legacy of love and compassion. She joins her departed family members, including her brothers, Joseph, Steven, and David Martino, her sister, Susan Martino, and her cherished parents, Anna (Turchetta) Martino and Joseph Martino.
Her funeral will leave at 9:15 am on Tuesday September 16, 2025, from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery.
