Victor H. Montufar

73, of Cranston and Guatemala City, Guatemala passed away peacefully on Friday, October 6, 2017, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of fifty years to Transito (Amado) Montufar. Born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, he was a son of the late Irene Montufar. Victor was a construction worker in the transportation department for ten years before his retirement. He was also a plumber and handyman.  Victor was an avid soccer fan.

Besides his wife he is survived by his loving daughter Ruth V. Figueroa and her husband Erick of Cranston. Victor was the cherished grandfather of Estuardo Figueroa of England, Dairyn, Carlos, Yeraldy, Ana, and Shirley Figueroa. Victor was predeceased by all of his siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his VISITING HOURS on Tuesday 4:00-8:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLOFUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. His funeral service and burial will be private.
