83, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late John Mercurio. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Lolio) Barone. Vilma was an administrative assistant for the former Cranston Print Works for ten years before her retirement. She was a member of United Commercial Travelers and the Cranston YMCA.
She is survived by her loving son, John V. Mancini and his girlfriend Norma Ryan of Pompano Beach, FL. Vilma was the cherished grandmother of Jonathan W. Mancini of Pompano Beach, FL and Michael V. Mancini of Cranston. She was the sister of Loretta Driscoll of Pompano Beach, FL and Helen Cesario of North Providence.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco Church, 931 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Monday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O.
