Vilma A. Vento, 90, of Simmonsville Ave., Johnston, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Olindo “William” and Filomena (DeFelice) Vento; loving mother of Anthony O. Fuoco, Kenneth J. Fuoco, Lori A. Lyons-Fuoco and Patricia L. Breggia; cherished grandmother of David Fuoco, Kimberly Fuoco, John DiSumma, Jr., Nicole Lyons, Toni Marie Fuoco, Gianna Costantino and Francesca Breggia; loving great-grandmother of Kyle, Santino, Emmy and Orlando; and dear sister of Joseph Vento of Johnston and the late Helen Tessitore and Theresa Pyne.

Vilma was employed by the Town of Johnston as a school bus driver. She also acquired her real estate license and cosmetology license.  She enjoyed interior decorating and mostly spending time with her loving family.

Visiting hours are Thursday Morning, January 19th from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m.  Graveside burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
