70, of Johnston passed away on March 24, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Janice (Silvia) Salzillo. They were married for 47 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Vincent and Ida (Bianchi) Salzillo. Mr. Salzillo was in the automotive business for many years, most recently with Dean Auto Body until retiring due to illness.
Besides his wife he is survived by his loving daughters, Dedra Durant and husband Keith Durant of Johnston, Danielle Bouressa and husband Christopher Bouressa of West Greenwich, and his cherished grandchildren Jack and Cole Bouressa. He was also the brother of the late Robert Salzillo.
He was a longtime member of Holy Cross Church in Providence until its recent closure. He was an avid Yankee, Patriot, and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed classic cars, even owned several over the years. Every morning, he enjoyed playing Keno amongst friends at a local convenience store. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.
His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Funeral Liturgy Outside Of Mass at 10 am at Holy Cross Church, Providence.
