92, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday April 13, 2016 at Elmhurst Extended Care Facility, Providence. He was the husband of the late Clara (DeCesaris) Carnevale. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Filippo and Valentina (Broccoli) Carnevale. Vincent worked for the former WJ Halloran Trucking Company of Providence for many years before retiring.
He was a WW-II US Army veteran serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theater.
He was a member of the Tabor Franchi VFW Post #2396, Local #251 Teamsters and a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Cranston.
He was the devoted father of Joan P. Pagliuca of Cranston; loving grandfather of Joan Dawley and Audrey Kennedy; loving great-grandfather of three; loving great-great-grandfather of five and dear brother of Evelyn Cirisi of Cranston, Norma Barone of Johnston and the late Flora Caruso, Joseph, Anthony and Albert Carnevale.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Monday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church 1525 Cranston St. Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial with military honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting Hours are Monday Morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
