Vincent R. DeMatteis

73, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at home  surrounded by his loving family . He was the beloved husband of Sharon ( Dutra) DeMatteis . They were married for the past 28 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Michael and Assunta (Turcone)  DeMatteis. Vinny was an insurance adjuster for many years ; he also served in  U.S. Army Reserves .

Besides his wife he is survived by his step children Nathan Moniz and Elizabeth Moniz Clare and his step grandchildren Thomas , Jackson and Olivia.  Vinny was he loving father of the late Michael P. DeMatteis.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday at 9 am followed by a Funeral Service at 10 am in Cranston Christian Fellowship , Scituate Ave., Cranston. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday 4- 8pm.
