Vincent "Jimmy" "Lucky" Marinosci

96, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Morgan Health Center, Johnston. He was the loving husband of Adele (Sarro) Marinosci for 68 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Angelo Marinosci and Alleanza Panicacci. Mr. Marinosci was a carpenter for Public Works Department, C.B. of Davisville and Quonset Point Naval Air Station. As part of the “greatest generation”, Vincent, a US Army veteran was part of the D. Day invasion at Utah Beach during WWII. Vincent was an avid Yankees, Patriots and PC basketball fan.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Dennis Marinosci and his wife Catherine of Chicago, IL and Darlene Caruolo and her husband Alan of Cranston. He was the cherished grandfather of Nicholas and Vincent Caruolo and Matthew and Jennifer Marinosci. He was the brother of Salvatore Marinosci of Little Compton, Angelo Marinosci of Warren, Francesca DiPrete of Cranston, Angela Carroccio of Johnston and the late Rudolph Marinosci and Concetta Micheli.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, July 8th, at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at11:00 a.m. at St. Kevin’s Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Saturday from 8:30-10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bishop Hendricken High School Annual Fund, 2615 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI 02889.
