Vincent J. Monti

94, of Cranston, formerly of Johnston, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the R.I. Veterans Home in Bristol.  He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth M. “Betty” (Ricci) Monti to whom he was married for 61 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Arcangelo and Clara (Storti) Monti.

Vincent was a real-estate investor for many years before his retirement.  He was also a WW-II Army Air Force Veteran.

He was the devoted father of Susan Monti of Cranston and the late Linda LaPierre and Bette-Ann Rossi; loving grandfather of William, James, Alexandra and Victoria; loving great-grandfather of Joseph; and dear brother of the late Anthony Monti.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mark’s Church, 15 Garden Court, Cranston at 11:00 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.  VISITING HOURS Friday MORNING 8:30-10:00 a.m.
