a respected and dedicated member of his community, passed away peacefully at his home on November 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Vincent was born on April 16, 1944, in Providence, Rhode Island, the son of the late Vincent and Lillian (Stannard) Walsh.
Vincent is survived by his beloved wife, Carol (Coccoli) Walsh, with whom he shared 62 wonderful years of marriage. He is also survived by his son, David Walsh, and his daughter, Elizabeth Walsh.
Vincent's career as the owner of Vincent Walsh Plumbing & Heating was marked by his commitment to service and excellence. He was not only a skilled plumber but also served as the municipal inspector for the Newport School Department and the towns of Richmond, Exeter, and Jamestown. His contributions to his profession and the community will be long remembered.
A proud veteran, Vincent served in the Rhode Island Army National Guard, showcasing his dedication to his country and community. His character was defined by his integrity, work ethic, and the warmth he extended to everyone he encountered.
His funeral will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory – SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt. 1A), Narragansett followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Veronica Chapel, 1035 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Wakefield. VISITATION Friday morning from 9-10am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
