Vincenza "Dolly" (Benassi) Tanzi-Manco

89, of Johnston, passed away on Saturday April 30, 2016 at Cherry Hill Nursing Home, Johnston.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Lusciano and Madeline (Mizzoni) Benassi. She was employed at the Rhode Island School of Design for 15 years before retiring in 1992. Dolly was also a member of St. Bartholomew Church Ladies Guild, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Society and a volunteer/member of the Board of Directors for the Cranston Senior Citizens Day Care.

She is survived by her loving son Ralph A. Tanzi and his spouse John Fredricksen of New York, NY.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 10 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Bartholomew’s Church, Providence. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on TUESDAY MORNING from 9 – 10 am.
