Vincenzo DiMarco, 81, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, at Cedar Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cranston. He is the beloved husband of 54 years of Maddalena Maria (Crispino) DiMarco. Born in Piedimonte Matese, Italy, on April 9, 1933, he was the son of the late Raffaele and Marcella (Lombardi) DiMarco. Vincenzo settled in many locations throughout his lifetime, starting with England in 1960, where he married and started his family. He returned to Italy in 1968 to start an artisanal cheese factory. He moved on to Florence to expand the business before finally moving his family to Cranston, Rhode Island in 1977. He worked for DeMarco Landscaping until his retirement in 1998. Vincenzo enjoyed traveling, tending to his extensive vegetable garden, making wine and spending time with family. Besides his wife, Vincenzo is survived by his son Ralph and wife Kali, of Norwalk, CT, his daughter Giuliana and husband Frank, of Las Vegas, NV, and his son Moreno and wife Natasha of Boston, MA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; Adrienne, Tyler, Olivia, Luke, Cole, Alessandra and Ginger, and many nieces and nephews. Vincenzo's surviving siblings are Anna Pascale, Rita Rapa, Antonietta Leggiero, Alfonso DiMarco and Emma Savastano, all of Italy. He is predeceased by his brother Angelo and sisters Rosa Vetere, Carmela DiMarco, Rita DiMarco and Amelia DiMarco all of Italy. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Mary Church, 1525 Cranston St, Cranston. Entombment will be in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
