89, of Providence, passed away on Tuesday, September 06, 2016, at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. He was the beloved husband of Fernanda (DiStefano) Mosca. Born in Forli Del Sannio, Italy, he was a son of the late Giuseppe and Pasqualina (Carmosino) Mosca. Mr. Mosca was a machine operator for Colonial Knife Company for 40 years until his retirement; he was also a part time barber.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Giuseppe “Joseph” Mosca of Providence and Pasqualina “Patty” Fennessy of Providence. He was the cherished grandfather of Steven, Stefanie and Vincent; great-grandfather of Eliza and Steven; brother of Mina Capato of Cranston; his nephew Gino Capato and many other nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, September 10th at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Entombment will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Mausoleum, 73 Church Street, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday, September 9th, from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
