89, formerly of Shamrock Drive, Warwick, died Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Silver Creek Manor, Bristol.
Born in Providence to Rosario and Marianina (Tortolani) Carello, she married Vincent H. Ursini February 18, 1950.
She worked at Bostitch/Textron before retiring and attended Sts. Rose & Clement's Church in Warwick.
Most recently, she resided in Bristol at Silver Creek Manor where she made it her mission to brighten everyone's day and make them smile. She certainly succeeded in doing just that. She enjoyed playing bingo and would always tell everyone that she loved good food and good company. She definitely enjoyed her life. The family would like to thank everyone at Silver Creek for loving her as much as we did.
Vi is survived by her sister Anne Victurine of Berkley, MA, Her loving children; daughters Nancy Monti and her husband Davide of Duluth, GA, Marianne Svedberg and her husband Shayne of Worcester, MA and son Gregory Ursini and his wife Maria of Bristol, RI, Eleven grandchildren, six great grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Vincent H. Ursini and son Richard M. Ursini. She was the sister of the late Joseph, Angelo, Raymond, John, William, Fortunato, Anthony Carello and Dorothea Garvin.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave, Cranston on Thursday at 9:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Clement's Church, 111 Long St, Warwick, RI 02886. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Wednesday from 4 - 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: American Diabetes Association 10 Speen Street, 2nd Floor Framingham, MA 01701.
